Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. How do I download the audio files after I complete my purchase?

A. After you complete a purchase, you will have access to download links in 2 places: 1) on the Order Received page that displays on your screen immediately after the transaction is completed, and 2) in a Thank You e-mail/receipt that is sent to your e-mail address. Just click on the title of the audio file under the “Download” heading, and it will download to your device.

Q. How do I find the downloaded audio files on my smartphone, and how do I play them?

A. After clicking on a download link, the audio file will be placed in the Files folder on your phone as a high-resolution MP3 file. Simply locate the file in the Files folder on your phone, click on it, and your phone will play it. Please note that the audio file is not automatically added to your media player (iTunes, Apple Music, etc.). You can, however, manually move the file to any folder on your phone, copy it to your computer, or manually add it to your favorite media player. Many Another Colour Catalog customers have informed us that they have made dedicated folders on their phones to house the Another Colour music and poetry that they purchase and download. Have fun!

Q. Can I register for an online user account at the Another Colour Catalog website?

A. We have discontinued user accounts. The majority of users find no need for registering an account and keeping, or memorizing, login passwords. After each transaction, a Thank You email/receipt with download links is automatically generated and sent to the email address that the customer provides at the time of purchase. When another purchase is made at a later time, another Thank You email is generated and sent out.

Q. The audio recordings sound great! How were they recorded?

A. Most of the recordings were done in house, in Another Colour’s personal recording studio affectionately named Cornelius Studio. The songs and poems were produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Paul Dell Aquila, a certified audio engineer and an Avid certified Pro Tools computer music software operator who has taught audio engineering at the university level. Any additional engineering is credited in the notes section of the individual Product pages.
